First Lady felicitates specially abled artists | KNO

SRINAGAR, MAY 30 (KNO) : Mrs. Usha Vohra, First Lady, visited the Delhi Public School (DPS), Athwajan to felicitate Specially Abled artists who are here to participate in the Divine Art Camp organized by the School.

During her interactions Mrs. Vohra gave high praise to the artists who have made extremely attractive paintings and drawings by using their mouth or foot. She lauded their determination to pursue their dreams and presented shawls to felicitate them.

She also complimented the School Management in encouraging such activities, particularly to enable specially abled persons to find expression of their inherent talents. In this context she congratulated Mrs. Kiran Dhar for her devoted interest in raising the bar of school’s overall contribution towards meeting varied challenges. Among the participating artists were Ms. Shrilekha, Sh. Manoj Gopaldas Bhingare, Mrs. Sheela, Sh. Bandinawaz and Sh. Nadeem Shaikh. Mrs. Kiran Dhar, Ms. Shama Sondhi, students and staff of DPS were present on the occasion.
